That would explain this lovely star. It would also help explain the number of projects that I have on the go at any one time and the mess that is my sewing room.I have a Happy flimsy on the design wall waiting for the sashing to be finished, and more recently a second star flimsy that needs 2 - 3 more blocks made (I'll share that in a bit) but instead, I scratched an itch and started digging through scrappy neutrals and creamy pinks to try out a block that I've been eyeing from afar. Luv, luv, luv!
I haven't cut any more piece or made any more stars but that doesn't matter right now - I'm loving staring at this one. I think it's going to be called Strawberries & Cream....M

I am also plagued by the same symptoms. I found out it is called Startitis. There is no cure for it and I think it's a good thing, lol. Love your Strawberry star. Very refreshing for the summer time. Enjoy! ;^)
Good for you, deciding that YOU deserve to keep this quilt! What a beautiful, soft mix of fabrics and your stars are softly twinkling. Very pretty!
I like the name for this little quilt because it looks delicious. It is such a satisfying color scheme. The block pattern is very interesting too.
This is So pretty!

Another stunner, Marie! So much feminine charm … you have the best stash, and the eye to pull it together. A keeper, for sure!
Oh Marie, you are inspiring me to get my stash of "Pinks" out of the box! and onto the cutting table. Unlike you, I like to start and finish a quilt before starting another.Right now I have two on the go! Hope you might send me the pattern for this one so I can put together a square or two and see if it's worth the effort to make a queen-sized version to go in my pink room!. Totally love it. Here's to Strawberry Fields Forever! xo
SEW pretty, Marie!!
