Doing Santa's Laundry

Merry Christmas! With all of the prep and celebration for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, it's been like living in a snow globe these past couple of days, but in a very good way. And now that Santa's rounds are complete, it's time to freshen up his suit.

Time to catch my breath a bit, so I picked up Good Day, Syre Christmas and have been enjoying some very relaxing cross stitch by the light of the tree with my eggnog nearby.

Freshly fallen snow and icicles have been added to his house.

And the laundry is starting to be hung on the line.

May you find time to relax and soak in the joys of the season with some quiet time as well....M

What a cute after Christmas project! Glad to see Santa's suit is getting freshened up after his long trip!

What an adorable idea, Santa’s Suit hanging out to dry on the line! Although I would have guessed Dry Clean Only…. But a cross stitch of a dry cleaner’s shop would not be anywhere near as cute!

I made this piece last Christmas for one of my sisters and really enjoyed it and am very happy to have started one for me. When it gets finished? We'll see!

I know! I too would have thought that all of that velvet would need a good dry cleaning, but obviously Santa is very resourceful.

And happy New Year to you Jocelyn! I hope that it brings you much joy and good health, and obviously a lot of quilting happiness.

That’s a lot of patience, Marie! I can’t even imagine trying to get the grid all laid out properly. LOL! Have to agree, that hanging Santa suit is just too cute!
