Pokey probably best describes the speed at which Anna Levens is proceeding, but there is a little progress to report. My third large hexie has now been added to the finished pile.
This will likely be the centre of the star of hexies that anchor the quilt. The cream fabric was the first piece of fabric that I bought knowing that it would be for this quilt. It's been a couple of years already but nice to see it in it's place now.
And I just adore the turquoise that the smaller border hexies are made from (is it wrong to love fabric that much? 😏 ). It's probably the last piece that I bought but it's going to really make the quilt, I think. I've got plans to change the design somewhat as I go and am hoping to find a place to let more of that fabric shine....M

There's is nothing wrong with loving fabric that much. (Otherwise I'm guilty too!) Love the aqua splash! Great job! ;^)
This is a beautiful block. I love those fabrics together as well. The large print just works so well with that teal fabric. It's a perfect combo.
Loving fabric merely reflects your passion for your chosen hobby. I was once in a fabric shop when the shop keeper asked a customer if she was purchasing fabric for another quilt. No, she was buying some fabric for her grandmother who had lost her eyesight but still loved to feel the fabrics.
You've chosen some lovely fabrics for your Anna Levens quilt.
What is the name of that turquoise fabric? Is it one of Martha Negley's? It is stunning, and I am envious that you have it and I don't. :)
Oh I DO love that turquoise! Makes the centre sing! I did a couple of Christmas ornaments using EPP hand-stitched hexies. That's my sum total of 'em! Love seeing yours.
Your floral hexies are absolutely gorgeous! Beautify fabric combos!
Blessings and hugs!
